Charles and Anne Kent
Charles and Anne Kent went to Brazil in 1964 to work with APLIC, the printing ministry. APLIC provided lesson materials not only to our churches but to several of the denominations as well. We took the place of Ed and Lula Knowles who were returning to the U.S. The Kents lived in Goiania in the house that the Knowles had built. The APLIC printing shop was located next to their house. The Kents worked in the Setor Bueno and Vila Nova congregations in various ways; teaching, preaching, etc. Our children were a big help in the ministry as they opened doors through their friendships with the Brazilian children. After 5 1/2 years the Kents moved to the federal district to work in the Taguatinga church and the church camp. We worked there for nearly 6 years and then returned to the U.S. in 1975.
