Curtis and Rachel Kelley are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship assigned to Latin America. Curtis says, "I am looking forward to using the abilities and skills God has given me to serve with MAF as a maintenance technician. I wan to provide MAF pilots with safe and reliable aircraft that will be used to serve the front line missionaries. I am also looking forward to being involved with the local church in any way God can use me." A significant verse to them is Mathew 5:14-16, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may se your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Curtis was born in Zimbabwe, Africa, where his parents were missionaries. He grew up in Indiana and Ohio. His life was greatly influenced by his parents and older siblings. Curtis says, "We lived on two different church camps. I decided to give my life to the Lord when I was 13 years old. My parents' interest in missions exposed me to the need of those in other countries." He took general Bible at [[Cincinnati Bible College", aircraft maintenance at Cincinnati Technical College and received his Airframe and Power plant certificate from Great Oaks Adult Education. Curtis worked as an aircraft mechanic before coming to MAF.

John 15:5 is a significant verse in Curtis' life, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." He realizes that above everything else, his relationship with Jesus is most important.

Rachel was born in Grundy, Virginia. When she was seven, her family moved to White Mills, Kentucky, to be managers of a church camp. Rachel says, "I grew up in a Christian environment with parents who were committed not only to Christ, but also to His work. I wanted to be a part of the joy and peace that was around me. I accepted the Lord when I was nine when I realized that being a Christian was about a personal relationship with Christ." She committed her life to missions after a two-month life changing internship in Indonesia. Rachel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and International Ministry from Cincinnati Bible College. Curtis and Rachel met through mutual friends and were married August 29, 1999.

Note: Curtis is a grandson of Adele McFarland, MSA's founder.
